The Ibanez SR405EQM Soundgear Series five-string has a compact, beautifully-shaped and lightweight mahogany body topped with quilted maple top and dripped in a Tropical Seafloor Burst finish. The slim SR5 5-piece maple-and-walnut neck and twenty-four medium frets elevate the playing comfort and combine with the body to ensure a full acoustic foundation that's packed with mid-frequency presence.

The Accu-cast B505 bridge ensures accurate intonation and optimal string-to-body vibrational transfer, and features a 16.5mm string spacing to support both plucking and plectrum playing techniques. Full sound is delivered to your amp via a pair of PowerSpan Dual Coil pickups via an Ibanez-designed Custom Electronics three-band EQ section complete with volume and balance controls and a three-way power tap switch. Flip the switch into the first position to gain punchy and dynamic single-coil sounds with excellent articulation; flip into the second position to place the pickups in Series and get the full, warm sound of a humbucker; or shift into the third position for Power Tap mode and get a thick and hefty mix of both.
