The Xvive MD1 can be considered a wireless MIDI cable that can be used to connect a piece of gear fitted old-school DIN ports to an iPad or iPhone via MIDI-over-Bluetooth. The MD1 features a MIDI in and a MIDI out plug which means it works both ways. Things get even more interesting when you combine two MD1 sets, since this lets you have two MIDI devices communicate with each other wirelessly. You could, for instance, connect the plugs from one MD1 to a vintage sequencer and plug the second MD1 into a classic drum machine. Don't worry, the latency (delay) is just 3 milliseconds so everything will feel just as responsive as any wired set-up.
