A more-than affordable introduction to the classical guitar, the LaPaz 002 1/2 sets up any young beginner with warm sound and the comfortable playing feel of lower tension, nylon strings. Nylon strings are softer than steel strings, so less pressure is needed when holding down notes and chords. And, since this guitar has been built using basswood, you're assured of a balanced acoustic sound and plenty of definition whether finger-picking or strumming. This 1/2-size model is the perfect learning partner for children aged 5 and up as well as fully-grown adults looking for a compact travel guitar.
Traditional design
To accommodate finger-picking styles as well as effortless chord-grabbing without accidentally touching the wrong string, LaPaz have equipped the 002-1/2 with a traditionally wide string nut. Both the body and neck are lined with white binding for a beautiful colour contrast, while the elegant set of gold-plated machine heads with white buttons seal up the tuning stability and the aesthetics. In short, the LaPaz 002 sets you up with everything you need to make a great start!

Deze kleine gitaar gegeven aan mijn kleinzoon. Hij wil graag gitaar leren spelen. Het is een prima gitaar om het spelen onder de knie te krijgen. Het is een volwaardig instrument en geen speelgoed dingetje. Er zit een prima klank in. De gitaar is goed te stemmen. Het is nog wel even een dingetje om dat goed te doen i.v.m. nieuwe snaren. Je krijgt waar voor je geld
Ideaal als eerste gitaar voor onze zoon van acht jaar (125 cm).
Speelt hier veel makkelijker op dan een 3/4. Klinkt goed en is makkelijk te stemmen.
Een mooie, lichte gitaar. Prima gitaartje om mee te oefenen. Ben er ontzettend blij mee.
Kocht deze gitaar voor iemand die graag gitaar wilde leren spelen. Ze is er erg blij mee en kan al aardig wat akkoorden spelen. Mooi, licht en een fijn geluid. We zijn er blij mee.
We zijn super blij met deze gitaar. Aangeschaft voor mijn dochter maar inmiddels zijn mijn man en ik ook regelmatig aan het oefenen met de gitaar op de bank.
MIjn eerste gitaar, ik ben er blij mee en met wat oefening kan ik er ook al redelijk goed mee spelen.
Het is licht en ziet er leuk uit.
Ik zocht een reisgitaartje. En LaPaz heeft een prima prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Afwerking is niet stark maar speelt lekker licht door lage tension en nylon snaren. Niet voor dikke vingers maar ideaal voor scales 😉
Gekocht voor een 7 jarig neefje dat zijn eerste stapjes op gitaargebied wou zetten.
Hij is heel gelukkig met zijn gitaar, dus ben ik dat ook!

Prima gitaar voor het doel dat ik voor ogen had. nml het introduceren van een gitaar (instrument) voor mijn jongens. Zelfs twee gekocht. Uiteraard in het begin vaak opnieuw stemmen maar dat is te verwachten. Geen hoogstaande afwerking maar wel zeer netjes.
Voor deze prijs een mooi afgewerkt instrument. Zeker geschikt om te leren spelen.

This is an excellent half sized classical guitar. I'm a guitarist and so I know what to look for. It tunes correctly, has reasonable action, the intonation is the best I've ever seen on a guitar and the tone is very pleasant. A tip for those new to guitars, all guitars need tuning when first received (this is easy) and then there is a breaking in period where re-tuning is needed on many occasions as the strings stretch and get used to their new tension. This is normal and the LaPaz 002 is no exception.
Overall, for the money this is a great guitar and my seven year old really likes it.
