Fender Road Worn 50s Stratocaster Black MN
Descrizione
There are few things in this world that get better with age and the Stratocaster is one of them. This black Road Worn '50s Stratocaster is an electric guitar that was modelled after Fender's popular classic from the fifties. It has undergone a special treatment to artificially age its body, neck and hardware giving it not only the comfortable worn-in feel but also the coveted looks of an old Strat that has been on the road for years and has seen its fair share of (ab)use.
Vintage features of the Road Worn '50s Stratocaster
Just like a Fender Classic Series '50s Strat, the Fender Road Worn '50s was built according to fifties' specifications. It features, for instance, a 21-fret one-piece maple neck with a soft V-profile and a vintage-accurate headstock. Its alder body has the same rounded edges and contours as the original and is also equipped with a genuine nitrocellulose-lacquer finish. Other distinctive features include the vintage-style tremolo bridge, single-layer white pickguard, Kluson-type machine heads and foxed synthetics. Thanks to its narrow yet high Dunlop 6105 frets the neck retains its vintage look while gaining in playability.
Armed with Fender Tex-Mex pickups
The Fender Road Worn '50s Stratocaster is equipped with a set of powerful Tex-Mex pickups. These alnico V single-coils offer the rich tonal character of vintage pickups with a little more output, making them sound more powerful and warm with distinctively sparkling trebles. In addition to a master volume control, you are able to use two tone knobs to filter out the trebles. A five-position pickup switch allows you to choose between the different sounds of the three pickups and two combinations of pickups. This guitar provides a wide range of neat Strat sounds that are suited for any type of music.
