Descrizione
Not every guitar electric is blessed with exact T or S style specifications and looks. Over the years, many makers have taken those two iconic shapes as the basis for less traditional and more adventurous builds. Fortunately, the American SKB is quick to poke their head out every time a special guitar is introduced that requires a special, form-fitting case. That said, if you're the proud owner of a Gibson® Explorer® or Firebird® model, or a Jackson Kelly or Warrior Series guitar, the 1SKB-63 guitar case can give your precious instrument the full protection of an ultra-durable exterior and a soft plush interior. On top of that, SKB have incorporated a spacious accessory compartment for straps, picks or cables.
Another solid feature of the 1SKB-63 are the TSA-accepted locks, which make sure that when you travel by plane, airport security personnel is able to open the case and inspect its contents without having to brute-force their way in and damage the case in the process. This way, your Gibson® Explorer® / Firebird® or Jackson Kelly/Warrior is guaranteed to remain unscathed and in perfect shape.

Een goede kwaliteit koffer!
Een goede kwaliteit koffer!
Deze gaat nu altijd mee, erg blij mee.
Ik heb deze koffer vorige week besteld. Het is een goed uitziende en stevige koffer, voor o.a. de Gibson Explorer gitaar en andere extreme vormen gitaren. Deze koffer aangeschaft voor mijn gibson explorer, echter de past er niet goed in. De vorm van de body wel, maar de hals ligt niet diep genoeg in de halsvorm, waardoor de deksel niet goed dichvalt en er ruimte tussen zit, omdat de gitaar(hals) dan te hoog ligt. Er ontstond speling tussen de sloten en randen. Vond ik best jammer. Er zijn niet zoveel universele gitaarkoffers voor Gibson Explorer koffers. Ik heb het probleem opgelost door voorzichtig het pluche met een mesje los te snijden, en het piepschuim eronder voorzichting deels weg te snijden waardoor de hals beter in de vorm past. Nu kan de koffer goed dicht, en sluit alles op elkaar aan.

The case is great but unfortunately, my brand new ESP Edwards E-EX-125D [Explorer] doesn't quite fit. The bottom horn pointing away toward the headstock has to be squeezed in a little. I imagine the shape of my guitar is slightly different to a gibson due to copyright issues. That said, the case is solid, sturdy and has to be worth every penny if you have an expensive guitar (as do I)...
