Built to provide professional protection, the SKB 1SKB-244 violin case is compatible with both full-sized violins and 14 inch violas. Besides a form-fitting moulded interior, the lid of this case offers space for storing two bows while an extra compartment has also been integrated for storing rosin, a tuner and cleaning cloth. Above all, this practical case wraps your instrument up in a near-indestructible shock-resistant exterior shell reinforced with metal profiles and latches.

Degelijke koffer, heel wat anders dan andere flightcases en vioolkoffers die ik ook heb/gehad heb. De lengte had 1 cm meer gemogen, de strijkstok past er maar nèt in.
Aan de andere kant is er ook weer niet minder ruimte dan in andere koffers met deze vioolvorm.
Waar het om gaat: een stevige koffer die je met een gerust hart tussen versterkers en zware flightcases in de bus legt: dat is dik in orde. De voering is erg fijn en zacht, net als de prijs.

voor mijn viool kocht ik een dure design hardschalen koffer. Voor mijn altviool kocht ik deze SKB-koffer. De nadelen, een iets groter gewicht ,2.5 kg en het ontbreken van bevestigingsringen voor rugbanden, wegen niet op tegen de veel en veel lagere prijs van deze hardschalen koffer. Ik heb er nu een losse hoes omheen met rugbanden, dat werkt ook.
De koffer is superstevig en het binnenwerk is ook goed verzorgd.
