Years were spent developing GEWA's G9 Drum Workstation and that's something you can see as well as hear. All of the digital components, including the sensors and software, were designed in collaboration with TechniSat and Dream so you can rest assured that the quality is second to none. The full size shells and hardware on this digital drum kit are top notch too as GEWA enlisted the help of DW Drums for these, while Remo were called in to help out with the drumheads.

GEWA G9 Drum Workstation

GEWA was responsible for the G9 Workstation that lies at the heart of this kit. It's a comprehensive module that has numerous connection possibilities including WiFi, Bluetooth, SPDIF, USB and XLR. The HD sounds on board were recorded in Berlin's famous FunkHaus studios. The sounds can be fully customised too using effects and the Pro Audio recording tools. GEWA's G9 Workstation has an internal memory of 128 GB and a flash memory of 4 GB. The module is easy to use as well thanks to the 10-inch direct touch interface. The triggering and sensors on this kit are nothing short of fantastic and that means that the module knows exactly where you strike a drum or cymbal pad. This allows you to get different sounds from a single pad depending on where you hit it just like you would on an acoustic drum kit.

DW Drums PRO 6 Carbon Ply drum kit

The shells and hardware on this 6-piece kit that were designed by DW Drums looks just like those you'd find on a high end drum kit. There's an 18 x 14-inch 'virgin' bass drum, a 14 x 5-inch floor tom pad, two 12 x 5-inch tom pads, a 10 x 5-inch tom pad and a 14 x 5-inch snare drum pad. The drum pads all features mesh heads that were designed by Remo. The cymbal pads are based on Paiste's 2002 cymbals and have the same shape and weight for an authentic feel. These consists of a 14-inch hi-hat, two 14-inch crashes and an 18-inch ride.
