Yamaha already have a reputation for packing their electronic kits with sheer quality, and nothing has changed in the compact, neat form of the DTX402K drum kit. Designed for the more serious beginner, this kit comes complete with a fully height-adjustable rack, so it can even be set up for younger drummers. The trigger pads have also been considerately designed to make as little noise as possible, so while you can clearly hear a beat being tapped out, the neighbours will have no idea that it's happening at all. The sound module has even been loaded with a special coach function for honing fledgling skills, and a smartphone or tablet can be connected so you can use it to play along with your favourite tracks. The smooth and easy controls finish this comfortable and smart learning tool of an electronic drum kit.
