HK Audio's Linear 5 LTS passive speaker has a remarkable design that enables it to produce long-throw audio, but is still no bigger than a standard line array. It boasts an RMS output capacity of 600 watts and a peak SPL of 138 dB, which means it can project audio up to thirty metres away without the need for extra speakers, which saves you space and hassle. It's not very heavy (26.4 kg) and is equipped with handles for manageability while getting it to and from the stage.

The L5 is equipped with three 8-inch speakers, a 1-inch tweeter and a cone with Multicell Transformer technology, which means it can generate the same audio quality and frequency range as a larger cone. Connect two of these speakers in a mono configuration and you can count on seamless audio. This speaker boasts a frequency range of 100 Hz to 20 kHz to ensure a defined mid and high range. It offers two SpeakOn connections in the rear. The only thing this speaker needs is a subwoofer!

On stage

As mentioned above, the compact size of this speaker makes it efficient and practical. It has a plywood cabinet, which is lightweight and built to last. The grille is made of black metal with acoustic foam inside to protect it from damage during transport. It's 64 cm high, and the slanted edges ensure it'll stack easily. Thanks to seven M8 rigging points, suspending this speaker is also possible, as well as mounting it on a distance rod. It's up to you!
