The undeniably sly Foxy Tone Box from Warm Audio more than convincingly mimics one of the world's most deeply loved and revered fuzz pedals ever - you know, the one made famous by legends back in the early '70s, like Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Mr. Peter Frampton. Fast forward, and this fuzz helped sculpt the sound of none other than Adrian Belew, Nine Inch Nails, and the incomparable Beck. Dressed up in a solid box, coated in a layer of fuzzy orange velvet, and with a metal badge planted firmly on the face, this stompbox has been given a satisfyingly vintage finish, just like the original, and just so you're made absolutely sure of what's going on inside. The Foxy Tone Box has definitely been built using the best possible components to authentically reproduce the original circuit and is able to deliver that mighty, thick and warm, shredded tone.

No Fan-Art Fuzz

The Foxy Tone Box is swift enough to keep up with and react with brilliance to the way you play. This level of dynamic response is probably due to the fact that this pedal has been carefully built by hand, that it comes backed up by a hard-to-find NOS (New Old Stock) Fairchild germanium transistor, and that it's fitted with the very same diodes used in the original. This is no fan-art fuzz and sounds like nothing else you're likely to encounter during a lifetime of pedal spotting. Even the control layout mimics the OG, so you get a side-mounted Volume, Sustain, and Fuzz pot ('mellow' to 'brite') as well as a switch that activates an octave effect. This love-note of a stompbox sounds excellent when paired with a good electric guitar, but is served just as well alongside a bass, synth, and even a drum machine.
