The Sennheiser E 865-S is a high-quality condenser handheld microphone, equipped with a noiseless on/off switch. The sound is optimised for vocals, which are registered extremely accurately by this sensitive microphone. E 865-S: the switch
The robust housing of the Sennheiser E 865-S is made out of metal and equipped with a handy on/off switch. It has been designed so that if you use it, you won't hear a loud noise over the sound system. In order to prevent you from accidentally switching the microphone off during a gig, it can be locked.

High-end sound
The microphone capsule of the Sennheiser E 865-S is encased in an advanced shockmount system. Handling noise is therefore reduced to a minimum.
