If you're looking for an easy way of wirelessly amplifying your instrument, you should definitely consider the Shure BLX14 - Beta 98H/C system. It consists of a compact BLX4 receiver, a BLX1 bodypack transmitter and a Shure Beta 98H/C condenser instrument microphone. The transmitter and the receiver use the UHF band to communicate with each other within a range of 100 yards. Syncing the two is easy thanks to a practical QuickScan function.
The Shure Beta 98H/C instrument microphone
Shure's Beta 98H/C is a small, manageable instrument microphone that comes with a flexible cable and a mounting kit, so you can easily position it any way you like, ensuring it registers exactly what you want it to. The microphone's cardioid pickup pattern, meanwhile, makes sure that background noise won't taint your sound. Its wide frequency range makes it suitable for a range of instruments, such as saxophone, brass, strings and percussion.
