Samson Resolv SE5: bi-amped

The SE5 is the most compact model from the Resolv SE series, but you wouldn't say so listening to it! A 5-inch woofer and 1.25-inch silk-dome tweeter are powered by a bi-amp amplifier. The woofer is provided with 50 watts, the tweeter with 20. This is more than enough for a high-quality home studio. Samson have also put a lot of effort in creating the optimal monitor housing. Solid MDF results in a durable, serious sound pressure. A waveguide tweeter lets the sound waves glide along with the low tones, without 'bumping' and messing up the sound image.

Whether you are creating an Ableton mix every once in a while, spend hours in Cubase or want to amplify your synthesizers: the Resolv SE5 is a fine partner. The durable, compact housing has a bass reflex port at the front, that ensures the desired punch in the low frequencies. At the rear you will find volume controls and an HF switch with which you can lift or attenuate the high frequencies. This way, you will be able to fine-tune the SE5 precisely for your listening setup. You can connect this monitor via the renowned 6.3mm jack cable (balanced) or a RCA cable (unbalanced).
