Deze oefenpad besteld omdat hij compact en licht is, t.o.v. mijn grotere Vic Firth practice pad. Een mooi alternatief om dus mee te nemen op reis, maar nu na een weekje denk ik dat deze niet alleen op reis gebruikt gaat worden; deze gaat de grotere pad vervangen!
De pad is niet alleen prachtig om te zien, het speelgevoel is ook bijzonder fijn. De schroefdraad onderop zal ik niet vaak gebruiken, maar is uiteraard een handige feature.
Conclusie: zéker gezien de prijs écht een topaankoop!
Heel mooi oefenpad van een van favoriete drummers :)

Hele fijne pad, niet te groot, niet te klein, mooi om te zien, speelt heel lekker. Vast te schroeven op een bekkenstatief. Ben er blij mee!

Ik gebruik deze practice pad nu een jaar. Hij speelt lekker, en heeft een redelijk realistische rebound. Het rubber blijft netjes en vertoont geen slijtage.
Helaas is de mdf basis onder het rubber speelvlak niet echt geschikt materiaal voor een practice pad.
De M8 schroefdraad bevestiging is al uitgelubberd waardoor de practice pad begon te wiebelen op een bekkenstatief. Hiervoor zou beter een kwalitatief multiplex voor gebruikt kunnen worden.
Ook de antislip op de onderkant werkt minimaal, op een gladde ondergrond werkt dit vaak niet en glijdt en hobbelt de practice pad alle kanten op. Dit komt mede door het lichte gewicht en het kleine formaat wat anderzijds ook weer een voordeel is.
Overigens had ik een kortingscoupon van Bax waarvan de code helaas niet werkte naar meerdere mailtjes naar Bax toe geen reactie ontvangen.. helaas .. jammer...
