All cymbals in the series are made of B10 bronze, that consists of 90% copper and 10% tin. The CC18TRC-B is a Trash Crash that has been polished up to six times, giving it a brilliant finish, and features several cutouts of varying sizes.

This particular version of the Trash Crash is 18 inches in diameter, but there is also a smaller, 16-inch version. Thanks to Meinl's high-tech production and finishing process, these cymbals have an aggressive sound with a bright, trashy character that never becomes too brash, remaining quite smooth instead. The cutouts create a loud, sparkling spread in a fairly narrow range, and this 18-inch model logically has a lower pitch than the 16-inch version.
