The fact is, however, that even great vocalists can make gratifying use out of it. Sure, you could decide to record twenty vocal takes and hope there's a pitch-perfect performance in there, but it's a lot more efficient to ever-so-slightly correct a couple of notes. This is where Antares' Auto-Tune Artist pitch correction software comes in. What's more, it even lets you experiment with the extreme Cher-effect but we kindly ask you don't overdo it for the sake of nominal music standards. The right pitch can be entered via MIDI, and this version also doesn't require an iLok, so what are you waiting for?!
