The VIR2 Elite Orchestral Percussion sample pack is a massive, 19GB library full of traditional and less traditional percussion instruments, totalling over 250 instruments that have been divided into various categories: bass, snare drums, cymbals, glockenspiels, gongs, hand bells, mallets, tambourines, timpani, world, and ethnic. Thanks to the advanced sampling and recording techniques, every instrument sounds remarkably natural and authentic. Not only that, this software goes in-depth, allowing users to tweak an array of variables and even program things like flams, three-stroke ruffs, chokes, rolls, rhythmic patterns and more. Besides a boatload of samples, you're set up with EZRoom's IR software: an effect plugin that mimics the acoustics of world-famous concert halls, giving you special reverb effects that can be freely applied to the included instruments. VIR2 Elite Orchestral Percussion runs as standalone software but can also be used as an NI Kontakt plugin.
