The collaboration between Tech 21 and Steve Harris began when the bassist toured to promote his debut solo album, British Lion, since it wasn't all that practical for the Iron Maiden member to bring his go-to live rig along to smaller shows. That meant that together with Harris, who's been using the same gear for nearly 40 years, Tech 21 had to find a way to capture his signature sound and carefully stuff it inside a lightweight and compact amp.

The Steve Harris SH1 Signature SansAmp: Completely Practical and Practically Complete

The SH1 has two channels with individual gain and volume controls and comes with an active 4-band EQ with a whopping 18 dB cut/boost. There's a Blend switch to determine how much of the instrument signal you want to let through while the Bite switch can provide an extra dose of brightness whenever needed. Built for stage use, this signature amp has an XLR output with ground lift and encompasses a true tone-shaping power tool.
