Audient Launch Second Generation iD4 and iD14 Audio Interfaces
As a maker of homegrown gear, Audient started out by building a solid reputation for making high-end mixing consoles. A few years ago however, the British brand introduced their first audio interfaces in the form of the iD Series. Following immense success, Audient now launch the second generation iD Series interfaces and present the iD4 MKII and iD14 MK2. Also, while they're at it, Audient kindly present a budget-friendly recording pack under the EVO name: the EVO Start Recording Bundle.
What's Changed?
Keeping up with the times, the MKII versions of the iD Series interfaces feature USB-C, which has become the standard for practically every modern device. USB-C is not only faster but ensures minimum latency. In terms of aesthetics, the iD interfaces are cleaner, sleeker and more professional-looking - thanks in part to the newly-designed Audient logo. In addition, with the Start Recording Bundle released under Audient's EVO label, any fledgling musician or ambitious singer-songwriter on a budget is offered everything they need to start building up a solid reputation - and repertoire - of their own.
