Beyerdynamic Launches the DT 1770 Pro MKII and 1990 Pro MKII Studio Headphones
Beyerdynamic has further perfected two of their most popular pairs of studio headphones: the DT 1770 PRO and the DT 1990 PRO. Just like the original models, these MKII editions boast excellent sound and comfort, but also feature a few upgrades.
Closed versus Open Construction
The closed design of the DT 1770 PRO MKII headphones is not only ideal for recording audio due to the limited leakage, but helps deliver deep and powerful basses alongside transparent mid-range frequencies and lush, richly detailed trebles. The DT 1990 PRO MKII headphones, on the other hand, have an open construction, resulting in more natural, transparent and spatially enhanced sound — perfect for mixing, audio editing and mastering.
Tesla.45 Drivers
Both headphones have been armed with the newly-developed TESLA.45 drivers for more sparkle in the treble range and extra-tight basses. This level of ultra-accurate, ultra-dynamic audio reproduction is exactly what makes these high-end headphones so good when it comes to working with studio-grade audio.
