The Stratocaster first landed on Earth all the way back in 1954, meaning that in 2024, this icon among icons is celebrating its 70th birthday. To mark the occasion, Fender drop six very special, limited edition 70th Anniversary models.
Seven Decades of Flawless Sound
The Fender 70th Anniversary Stratocaster Collection is divided over two series, each with three models to choose from. The Anniversary edition of the American Professional II Stratocaster has been put together for the progressive guitarist in need of an ultra-adaptable stage-buddy, while musicians on a tighter budget are treated to an Anniversary edition of the Player Stratocaster. Each model has been given an exclusive paint job that you won't find among the regular models, including an authentic and familiar 2-Color Sunburst and a uniquely spectacular Comet Burst - which coats the lush, flamed maple top of the American Pro II Strat.
