Fender Cut a New Trail with the Highway Series
With the all-new Highway Series, Fender cut a fresh route to performance-ready sound and playing comfort. This four-model range of electro-acoustic guitars has been designed from the ground up to ensure fully optimised amplification and natural playability.
The Fender Highway Series: The Modern Acoustic
The Fender Highway Series essentially scribes a new chapter in the electro-acoustic history book. While the body shape sticks to tradition, the modern build technique that's gone into these models results in a breathtaking quality of sound and level of playability. The brand-new bracing pattern combines with an exclusively developed Fishman Fluence pickup to shape organically amplified sound, uninterrupted by feedback. Easily tweak the output via the Contour control pot to back up solo as well as full band performances and be assured of balanced yet present, mix-punching sound.
Dreadnought or Parlor?
The Fender Highway Series compiles four different models, giving guitarists the pick of a Dreadnought or a Parlor finished with a spruce or mahogany soundboard. The body of these innovative acoustics has also been kept relatively shallow, features a forearm contour and a belly-cut to really level-up the comfort and, while the dreadnought brings the power and fullness needed for strumming and rhythm techniques, the parlor is not only a touch more compact but has been given a shorter 24.75 inch scale length, fully setting it up for finger-picking. In true Fender style, each model also comes complete with a Fender Deluxe 1225 Gig Bag.
