New Boss Katana Series Additions!
The Boss Katana line-up has been expanded with three new bits of kit, offering guitarists an even broader and even more adaptable setup as well as impressive Katana-grade sound.
The Katana-50 MKII EX: The Evolution of a Modern Classic
The ideal starting point for guitarists that are just starting to play gigs, the Katana-50 MKII EX might be a mega-compact combo guitar amp, but can definitely be used on stage. Taking things up a notch from the standard-edition Katana-50 MKII, the EX-edition is compatible with both the GA-FC and GA-FC EX footswitches, so by adding either of them to the rig, you can suddenly flip through the amp settings and toggle the built-in effects hands free and in real-time. With the EX, you can even couple up a second Katana MKII amplifier and take advantage of the big sound of the Stereo Expand function.
The Katana-Artist MKII Head: Potent Katana Sound in an Amp Head
The undeniable flagship of the Katana Series, the Katana-Artist MkII Head, features a Tube Logic design that's been combined with an analogue Class-AB power amplifier section to serve up an immense spectrum of tonal profiles, all supported by an incredibly musical response. And, if there's a head, there has to be a matching speaker cabinet: the Katana Cabinet 212 Waza. This 2x12 cab has a removable back panel so you can switch between open-back and closed-back sound at will.
