The Kamakura Series: Illustrated by Crisalys
Each of the graphic prints that adorn every member of the Kamakura Series have been drawn from the pen of Crisalys, and each displays a stunning mash-up of her own unique style with traditional Sumi-e art. The theme of each image has been guided by both traditional Japanese folklore and the ethos of each pedal itself, and as a nice detail, the name of each pedal has also been translated and scribed in Katakana script on each control panel by Baylor Wilson, and Japanese distributor, Takahiro Kaneko. Takahiro also served as cultural advisor for the project and played an integral role in the design, context and translation. The Walrus Audio Kamakura Series stompboxes are limited edition beauties.
