Since it features a built-in OLED display, the Katana:Go immediately differs from the standard. Easily browse through settings and options and gain fast access to the integrated Boss chromatic tuner (a professional go-to), and ensure you're fully tuned up before every playing session. Meanwhile, the rechargeable battery supplies up to five hours of uninterrupted playing time.

The Boss Katana:Go: The Complete Katana Arsenal

The Katana:Go comes with a stack of five guitar amplifier and three bass amplifier emulations on board, each complete with tweakable EQ, gain and volume controls. Scroll through the library of high-grade effects and add some extra dimension to the sound with the help of some stone-cold Boss classics. If you're already working with a Katana or Katana MKII amplifier, you can even load in your current patches and literally put your signature sound in the palm of your hand. Via Bluetooth and the Boss Tone Studio app, you can't only stream wireless audio, but also edit your sound. Access the Boss Tone Exchange and discover, download and share patches online and open up a world of sound.

Immersive Playability

Another unique feature of the Boss Katana:Go is the Stage Feel headphone option, which gives you a truly immersive playing experience that can also be tweaked in detail. A footswitch (not included) can also be plugged in for quick, hands-free preset switching, and the Katana:Go is even compatible with expression pedals, giving you full control over pitch and wah effects. To support recording and live streaming, this headphone amp even doubles as a USB-C audio interface so it can be hooked up directly to a computer - or your phone - or your tablet! Bloody hell, this thing is incredible. I've invested in amp-sims in various guises ever since the Korg Pandora in the mid '90s and it's only in the last few years that products haven't failed to disappoint, you name it I've owned it and the Boss Katana Go produces tones every bit as good as all of them and I include the big hitters like the excellent Quad-Core NeuralDSP and Line 6's Helix. 5 hour battery life, also doubles up as an audio interface that works not only with my computer but also with my Android phone so I can record ideas into Cubasis with no noticeable latency. It can also hook up to the smartphone via Bluetooth to watch tutorial videos or play along with music on your device. I am seriously blown away and can't begin to understand how Boss have managed to fit so much into something so small, powerful and versatile for so cheap.

Fantastisch klein ding. Het geluid is van zeer degelijke kwaliteit en dit maakt het dus ook aangenaam om mee te oefenen. Voor 139 euro is dit een no brainer. Zoals velen van ons (denk ik toch😝),heb ik al genoeg geld verbrast aan nutteloze dingen, maar dit is nog eens echt een goede investering geweest. Zeker een aanrader!!

Given a little time to create my own presets this little thing produces just about every sound I require. I am particularly impressed by the quality of the synth compared to the Boss SY1 which Sounded way too harsh. This plus an excellent stereo plate reverb sounds really great in my cans. The only thing I am not impressed with is the stage feel which knocks your carefully created sound back to mono but places it in a left or right field in relation to a stereo backing track, might be useful to some but not to me, I feel this is more of a gimmick.

Never had a headphone amp before, despite only really playing at home. Price and delivery were good/quick. The presets out the box are fantastic and the app lets you tweak almost everything. 5 stars. Well worth it. Got the case too which is overpriced but fits perfectly

Machtig klein ding. Ik bezit al een Katana MK2 100. Maar dit heeft mijn stoutste verwachtingen overtroffen. Prima sound via mijn Senheisser 650 hoofdtelefoon. Dit is een Katana in pocketvorm met alle fwx on board. Je kan zelf switchen naar de Katana bass versie. Dit is super handig omdat ik ook een bas bespeel.
Zeer leuk is de Stage feel functie. Dit brengt je echt op het podium vanuit je zetel.
Xtraatje is de functie waarmee je eigen muziek of via youtube kan meespelen.
Geen wonder dat ze na 14 dagen over de gehele wereld zijn uitverkocht.Gelukkig bij Bax op dit ogenblik nog niet.
Dit is een must have.

Tja, eigenlijk ben ik helemaal niet van de modeling. Geef mij maar een oude Fender buizenbak met een compressor, overdrive en galmpje erbij en ik ben happy. Helaas is dat ‘s avonds om elf uur geen goed idee. Ik probeerde Spark en Mooer, dat was het niet. Altijd dat digitale kunstmatige randje. Ik heb een Quilter superblock met echte knoppen en dat is wel tof, maar ja dan zit je toch weer aan een adapter en een relatief groot ding vast. De Vox amp plugs zijn te beperkt en ruisen. De Katana go dus. Klein, oplaadbaar, tuner, muziek streamen om mee te spelen, goede app en de bekende Katana geluiden die ik kende van collega’s. Was ik niet zo enthousiast over. Een overmaat aan high gain sounds overladen met FX. Mwah, niks voor mij. En inderdaad dat metalige digitale randje. Gelukkig zijn de weinige cleane en crunch sounds met de app prima te editten en te ontdoen van de overmaat aan FX. En dan is het wel erg fijn spelen late night op de bank hoor! De stage feel setting is ook fijn. Dus al met al wel een dikke voldoende. En overdag gaat gewoon de oude Bassman aan. Waarschuwing: het ding gaat ongemeen hard, voor je het weet jam je jezelf een gehoorbeschadiging.

Ein-de-lijk een echt bruikbare oplossing voor mobiel gitaarspelen. Of in mijn geval de basgitaar. Gewoon inpluggen en gaan. Geluidskwaliteit is uitstekend en ook de connectie met je telefoon is makkelijk te maken. De app is goed en die heb je niet eens vaak nodig. 1x instellen en dan je muziek afspelen via je streamingsdienst of vanaf je muziekspeler. Dit is wat mij betreft zeker beter dan thuis spelen met een brak oefenversterkertje. Groot voordeel is ook dat het een audio interface is zodat je je spel meteen kunt opnemen op je compu. Zijn centen meer dan waard wat mij betreft.

Excellent. incomparrable avec les autres systèmes du même genre (fender, nux...).
Extrement complet au niveau des effets et des paramètres.
D'une utilisation très simple, le son est exceptionnel que se soit au casque ou sur une des enceintes actives.
