The AA-50-R is a welcome reworking of the now-classic Ashdown acoustic guitar amplifiers from the late '80s and early '90s, brought up-to-speed by a set of two 5-inch Celestion speakers and not one, but two built-in reverbs. Along with the two channels, some ultra-useful notch filter, phase switch, and phantom power functions are provided and your pedalboard can be linked through using the mono effects loop. Pre and post-DI outputs have also been fitted to set this amp up for any situation, and besides an old-school physical line-input, you also get the option to pair up and stream backing tracks from a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or other compatible device as needed. The 50 Watts of power that the AA-50-R packs gives you more than enough potency to play with and completes an acoustic amp that really does offer everything.
