Thankfully, Hohner are still producing this plucky little diatonic harmonica with the same level of care and attention as they did way back when, so these harps feature a pear wood comb sealed in lacquer to increase moisture resistance and prevent warping and the reed plate has been made from copper and finished with twenty copper reeds. All of this is protected by stainless steel cover plates engraved with the iconic Marine Band stamp, retaining a traditional look, while the combination of pear wood with copper produces naturally warm yet expressive and raw notes, and irresistibly rich, full chords.
