Ideal for complete beginners as well as school music rooms, the Hohner Melody Star harmonica has a special design to make playing any kind of music a touch easier. This model has sixteen reeds to complete a two octave note range and, while it is diatonic, offers a great introduction to chromatic harmonicas. The specific shape of the transparent blue comb makes it easy to play every note clearly and, since the Melody Star is tuned in C-major, it can be used for any teaching method.

While it's definitely fun to play the harmonica, it does take some practise. But, thanks to that specially shaped mouthpiece, the Melody Star makes the process that bit easier.
