The Vic Firth Ray Luzier Signature drum sticks were designed to withstand the Korn drummer's aggressive playing. While Luzier liked the standard 5B's diameter, but felt they could be a little longer. As such, the diameter is unchanged, but these sticks are a little over 16" long and feature a short taper ending in an oval wooden tip. What's more, the butts of these sticks are rounded, so that they're still comfortable if they slide around in your hands while playing, as is often the case with Luzier. Of course, these hickory sticks are as durable as you'd expect from Vic Firth, so even heavy hitters don't have to hold back!
