Descrizione
Scrolling all the way back to the fifties, the Fender Custom Shop presents the Time Machine Collection edition of the ‘53 Precision Bass. Coated in a timeless Aged Nocaster Blonde before being finished with the Journeyman Relic treatment, this four-string has been hand-worn in all the right places, giving it the look and feel of a fully played-in bass. Meanwhile, smooth, comfy and authentic playability is assured by a quarter-sawn maple neck polished off with a snug ‘51 U-profile and a vintage 7.25 inch fretboard radius.
The Time Machine Collection ‘53 Precision Bass: Throwback Detailing
The foundation of this Precision Bass is formed by a two-piece body made of specially selected slab ash and a single Custom Shop Hand-Wound Vintage P-Bass pickup, guaranteeing Custom-Shop-grade note definition and authentic, P-Bass sound. This level of authenticity also extends to the detailing, starting with a black phenol pickguard and trimmed-down headstock, and ending with the metal bridge and pickup covers. As you'd only expect, this beauty of a bass comes pre-wrapped in a deluxe case and bundled up with a strap and certificate of authenticity.
