The neck profile has been enhanced and the join at the heel has been deepened to offer smoother access to the higher frets and elevate playing comfort, while the full-scale 34-inch layout is comfortably wide so the dark ebony fretboard is navigated with agile speed. The exclusive, custom-designed Fret-King pickup configuration plants a single-coil at the bridge and a split-coil in the middle position - tweak the dedicated pair of volume pots and master tone pot to swing from a deep growl to a round punch at will. This setup has been mounted onto a two-piece alder body and coupled with a Wilkinson-designed WBBC bridge, a set of Wilkinson WJBL 750 mini-tuners and a graphite nut to lay down stable tuning and intonation, boosted sustain, improved resonant transfer and articulate tone.
