Descrizione
With a long scale length of 35 inches and a deeply contoured body, the Ibanez BTB1605 is an impressive looking instrument. The Deep Twilight Flat finish and gold-coloured hardware complete the look. Thanks to the neck-through construction of the 9-piece neck, this bass has incredible sustain and stability too. The Graphtech Black TUSQ XL string nut also plays its part in the sound of this special Ibanez bass.
Ibanez BTB1605: high-quality components
The pickups on this instrument are from the well-known Nordstrand brand, and balance a clear sound with plenty of warmth. A Mono-Rail IV bridge has been chosen for its ability to let each string vibrate individually without influencing the other strings. The string spacing of 19mm gives more room on the fretboard for techniques like finger picking and slapping. Excellent tuning stability is partly down to the Grover machine heads used.
Extensive EQ for a versatile sound
The Ibanez BTB1605-DTF offers you the 'best of both worlds'. On the one hand, you have an active EQ with a boost / cut function for bass, mid and treble and a frequency switch for the mids. On the other hand, there is an EQ bypass switch which lets you enjoy the pure sound of the Nordstrand pickups. The combination of its impressive looks and top-quality hardware make the Ibanez BTB1605 in Deep Twilight Flat from the Premium series a highly desirable instrument.
