ESP LTD's GB-4 is a 4-string electric bass guitar with a cool-looking, future-retro design! The body is made of swamp ash and equipped with two passive Seymour Duncan SSB-4 humbuckers and an active tone control. The result is a powerful-sounding bass guitar with a high level of versatility thanks to the stacked bass/treble controls, the independent midrange control and the push/pull potentiometer that transforms this instrument into a true slap machine as well! When activated, the EQ is specially voiced for slap bass. Incidentally, the GB-4 is also excellent for bass guitarists who like to downtune their instruments.
GB-4: does it all
The maple neck is bolted on to the body using 5 bolts to ensure optimal stability. The GB-4 also has a Gotoh 404BO-4 bridge with brass saddles and you can choose to go with a standard or string-thru-body setup. The slim neck has a Thin U profile for a fast and comfortable playing experience. No matter whether you're in the studio or on stage, or whether you're playing pop or metal, the ESP LTD GB-4 can be trusted to do it all!
