The expertly finished African mahogany body has been sealed in a detailed slice of walnut and 'curly' maple on both the top and back, which refines the look and gives this bass a deliciously full and rich sound. This tone is further defined by the perfect balance between warmth and brightness provided by the seven-piece panga panga and purple heart neck. The neck-thru construction ensures flawless vibrational transfer from the strings, and this exacting acoustic resonance is registered in detail by the mounted set of Aguilar DCB pickups and extensive active tone controls (which can also be switched off, as preferred).
