It comes in an American Rock configuration, consisting of a 22 x 18-inch bass drum, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8-inch toms, and a 16 x 16-inch floor tom and 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum make this a complete set. You will also receive a full set of hardware in the form of Pearl's Hardware Pack 830. You will, however, have to pick and choose your own cymbals (crash, ride, hi-hat), because these are not included. Features of the Pearl EXL725S/C246

One of the major reasons these shells sound so good is the type of wood that they're made of. These are 7.5mm thick shells that are made of a 6-ply combination of poplar and Asian mahogany. They also have 45-degree bearing edges that allows for better resonance and more sustain, and the triple flanged hoops also contribute to the neat attack. You also get some high-quality hardware - for instance, the toms are mounted with the special Opti-Loc system. This keeps your toms firmly in place, without dampening their resonance.
