Pearl has already successfully breathed new life into the Export series of drums, and now they present us with this limited edition Black Cherry Glitter version. For years, Pearl has been known for making high-quality drums that are great for both beginners and advanced drummers. The EXX705-C704 is a drum set that consists of a 20-inch bass drum, 10 and 12-inch toms, a 14-inch floor tom and a matching 14 x 5.5-inch snare drum. And, as a bonus, the hardware and cymbals that are in the image are included with this kit!

Pearl EXX705-C704: optimal sound

When Pearl redesigned the Export series, they added a number of improvements. For instance, the toms are now mounted using the Opti-Loc system. This means that the mounting bracket is attached to two tension rods and one of the tom's two ventilation holes. This allows the shells to resonate freely, and will not negatively affect the drum's integrity. Resonance has been further optimised by the lightweight lugs, that make minimal contact with the shells.

Poplar and mahogany

The shells of this drum set (snare drum included) are made of six plies of poplar and Asian mahogany, and are constructed according to Pearl's Superior Shell Technology. This guarantees every kit has that distinctly rich Pearl sound. Finally, this set comes with a Demonator bass drum pedal and the HWP-830 hardware pack. This pack contains a hi-hat stand and two cymbal stands on which you can mount the included Pearl cymbal set.
