Start pounding like a pro with the complete Tama Rhythm Mate beginner's drum kit. Since this kit sets you up with a five-piece shell set, a complete pack of stands, a Tama HP10 kick pedal, and a Meinl BCS cymbal pack including a hi-hat, crash, and ride, all you need to bring is your sticks.
The Tama Rhythm Mate RM52KH6-CCM Charcoal Mist
The Tama Rhythm Mate is made up of a 22 inch bass drum, a 14 inch snare drum, a 10 inch and 12 inch tom, and a 16 inch floor tom. In other words, this is a modern 'rock' configured kit. Each shell comes coated in a Charcoal Mist finish and has been made from 8mm-thick 9-ply poplar to ensure a warm and classic drum sound. The Meinl BCS cymbal pack finishes the setup with a 14 inch hi-hat, a 16 inch crash, and a 20 inch ride cymbal.
Solid Hardware
Tama are renowned for backing up drummers with solid hardware, and the Rhythm Mate kit is no exception. Besides the fully adjustable and extra-stable double-braced stands for the snare, hi-hat, and cymbals, Tama have included a pair of Omnisphere tom mounts for easy and secure tom positioning, a highly durable Tama HP10 kick pedal that's built to withstand some serious stomping, and a set of Accu-Tune tensions hoops fitted to each shell for fast and accurate tuning.
