Tama's Silverstar VD52KRS-ISP is an attractively-priced 5-piece shell set made of birch that produces a vintage sound. The set consists of a 22 x 18-inch bass drum, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8-inch toms, a 16 x 14-inch floor tom and a 14 x 5-inch snare drum. Simply add your chosen hardware and cymbals for a complete kit.

Tama VD52KRS-ISP Silverstar Indigo Sparkle

The shells all have a lovely Indigo Sparkle finish that looks fantastic. The toms, floor tom and snare drum are all made of 6 plies of wood that are 6 mm thick in total, while the bass drum is made of 7 plies and is 8 mm thick. They are all moulded the same way as Tama's high end drums which gives them a powerful sound with a rich, warm tone. The included Star-Mount system means that the toms are easy to set up and adjust and have optimal resonance too.
