This 4-piece shell set from Yamaha's Live Custom series is designed for live use and made with oak for a powerful, deep sound with a relatively short sustain. The stable hardware included ensures that these shells deliver consistent and reliable sound. This set consists of a 20 x 16-inch bass drum, 10 x 7 and 12 x 8-inch toms and a 14 x 13-inch floor tom. All of the shells have a Black Wood lacquer finish with dark-silver coloured hardware.

Shell Hardware

Like the shells, the hardware has also been specially developed for the stage. The 2.3 mm Dyna Hoops have been fitted to the toms and floor tom, and are relatively thick to ensure a robust construction, tight sound and great response. A double tom holder is included and the YESS mounting system for the toms is not only reliable, it makes minimal contact with the shells so that the dynamic range and the sustain are unhindered. The die-cast bass drum hooks have a rubber insert to prevent any vibrations while playing.
