The Cort G250DX II electric guitar wraps modern playability up in vintage style. Here, the solid American basswood body has been topped with a deluxe slice of quilted maple that's then been coated in a transparent lacquer to ensure that the uniquely complex wood grain shines through. This detail, plus the colour-matched headstock, gives this model a boutique-grade finish that comes at a fraction of the price.
The Cort G250DX: Musical Sound
Cort have loaded the G250DXII with a full set of HSS configured Alnico-V pickups, so besides a hefty humbucker at the bridge, this guitar wields the spank and bite of two single-coils. Taking things even further, the humbucker can be tapped using the push/pull tone pot, unleashing an extra dose of warm twang. And, since Alnico magnets are famed for their natural quality of sound and far-reaching, even musical character, you're assured of a genre-spanning instrument that can take on anything from soft blues or indie to heavy rock or grunge.
