A 15mm thick slice of sand-blasted ash tops the mahogany body of the ultra modern Cort KX300 Etched electric guitar. While the resulting stark grained finish is beautifully unique and subtle, the pair of active EMG RetroActive Super 77 humbuckers is anything but. These high-output pickups offer the kind of power that makes your hairs stand on end, especially when drenched in distortion. As such, the KX300 is made for sonic heavy-lifting while the fixed bridge and string-through-body carefully safeguards tuning stability and guarantees satisfyingly long sustain.
