Elevating things to an art, the See Thru Black Cherry Sunburst edition of the ESP E-II Eclipse takes a classic single-cut body shape, tops it with quilted maple and adds a matched headstock and mother-of-pearl inlay work. A solid foundation sound is guaranteed by the mahogany body and neck which is then framed by the warm accents of the rosewood fretboard and the resonant, near-infinite sustain of a set-neck construction. All of this is backed up by an active EMG pickup pack, a TonePros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece and a set of locking machine heads from Gotoh. And all of it comes pre-wrapped in a form-fitting hardshell case complete with a set of Schaller strap locks.

The Cherry Bomb

With an EMG 81 sitting at the bridge and an EMG 60 at the neck, this electric guitar has really been set up to sit on top of the band mix. The EMG 81 humbucker delivers the tried-and-tested high-output EMG sound that was first made famous by the likes of Metallica and Slayer, while the EMG 60 has a similar sonic character to a mini-humbucker and shapes clear, high-definition sound. This loudout results in an ultra-broad sonic spectrum and mammoth sound that's built for speed, so it's only fitting that this model is also kitted out with the light playability of a set of twenty-two extra-jumbo frets and the fast feel of a U-profile neck.
