The Fender American Nashville B-Bender Telecaster provides you with everything from classic twang to distinctive country bends with the unmistakeable Tele sound and feel. This electric guitar is equipped with two American Tele single-coil pickups as well as a Texas Special Strat middle pickup. Combine these with the special Strat-o-Tele five-position pickup switch and you are assured of a wide range of tasty sounds. However, it's what inside this guitar that counts - it is equipped with an original Gene Parsons/Meridian Green B-Bender.
American Nashville B-Bender Tele: bending the B string
Are you looking for that authentic Nashville sound? Then bend the B string during riffs and chords without releasing your hands, with the on-board B Bender. This system was the secret weapon of many country and rock guitarists at the end of the sixties and adds a unique aspect to your classic Tele. The B-Bender is activated by a bracket near the top horn, to which you mount your guitar strap. Put the strap of the American Nashville B-Bender around your neck and you're ready to enjoy those incredible pedal-steel sounds by simply pressing the neck downwards.
A versatile Telecaster as a base
The base of this guitar is formed by a genuine American Telecaster, made of first-class wood and equipped with high-end hardware. Its body is made of alder to provide the full, clear Tele sounds with rich mids. The neck is made of one-piece maple, for extra bite and sparkle. Despite its classic looks, this guitar is equipped with several modern features. For instance, it has 22 frets, a flatter 9.5-inch radius and a matted back of the neck for optimal playing comfort.
