- Fender American Standard Stratocaster Black MN
Fender American Standard Stratocaster Black MN
Descrizione
The Stratocaster is a real icon among electric guitars. Many brands have tried to imitate the Strat for a good reason; this American classic sounds great, plays fantastic and is beautiful and elegant to look at. There is however only one genuine Stratocaster and that is the one Fender makes. This American Standard Stratocaster has been upgraded with Custom Shop Fat '50s pickups and foxed synthetic components for a wicked vintage sound and look. It has a black lacquered alder body and a one-piece maple neck for added sparkle. This Strat was made in America so you can expect it to be reliable and of high quality. On top of that, a rugged SKB case plus a Fender guitar strap, instrument cable and polishing cloth are included.
American Standard Stratocaster: the modern standard
The Stratocaster still looks like it did when it was introduced in 1954 but has since undergone several modern improvements that make it an even better instrument to play. For instance, its neck features 22 medium jumbo frets, a relatively flat 9.5-inch radius and a two-way truss rod that allow for extra low action without clattering or loss of notes. The new tremolo bridge has just two pivot points and is equipped with modified vintage-style saddles that better retain tuning and prevent string breakage. Because the machine heads of the bottom-four strings have been lowered there's no need for a second string guide, providing more tone and sustain and eliminating annoying noises.
'50s Strat sound with an attitude
Fender have equipped their American Standard Stratocaster with three Custom Shop Fat '50s pickups, an upgrade that really does justice to the authentic Strat sound. These alnico 5 single coils produce a clear, vintage sound with a bit more output, a tad more bass and a milder midrange. Simply a full and fat sound that is also free of hum in mid positions thanks to the reverse-wound middle pickup. Additionally, this guitar is equipped with Fender's Delta Tone no-load circuit for the middle and bridge pickups. This means that the bottom potentiometer will function as a conventional tone control in positions 1 through 9, but takes itself out of the circuit completely on position 10. The result is a more natural and more raw and biting tone, especially in the bridge position.
