Bearing all of the feel and atmospherics of a Blackguard Telecaster from 1952, the Fender Custom Shop Time Machine '52 Telecaster has the fully played-in and much-loved look of a seventy-year-old six-string. Having undergone the Journeyman Relic treatment, light wear and tear has been applied in all the right places and combines with a tasty Aged Nocaster Blonde paint-job to complete the authentic vibe. Add all of that to the more subtle feel of the '57 Style Soft V profile of the specially selected Rift Sawn maple neck and you have yourself an endlessly playable sidekick.

The Fender Time Machine '52 Tele Journeyman Relic: Vintage-Grade Twang + Blend Control

While this Fender Custom Shop model harks back to the timeless fifties Tele, it also features the more modern perk of a compound fretboard radius that morphs from a round and vintage 7.25 inches at the headstock to a more familiar 9.5 inches at the body to fully support the light and controlled playability of the twenty-one Narrow Tall frets. When it comes to the sound, things are kept 100% authentic, courtesy of two Hand-Wound '50-'51 Blackguard Tele Pickups which have been exclusively designed to spit nothing but pure fifties-flavoured twang and bite and, via the '51 Modified Nocaster wiring, the output of both pickups can be smoothly blended. The Fender Custom Shop Time Machine '52 Tele comes complete with a hardshell case, a strap and a certificate of authenticity.
