The 3-colour Sunburst Fender Deluxe Lone Star Stratocaster is a loud, rocking version of Fender's successful Strat. The moniker 'Fat Strat' (for Stratocasters with an HSS pickup configuration) has never been more appropriate. This guitar is armed with a combination of Texas Special single-coil pickups and the immensely powerful Fender Twin Head humbucker, which might explain why this electric guitar was named after America's biggest state.
The sound of the powerful Lone Star
Naturally, Fender offers guitarists various ways to adjust the tone to their liking. The reliable, yet affordable, Deluxe Lone Star Stratocaster wasn't only fitted with conventional volume and tone controls, but also a vintage tremolo and the special S-1 switch. The S-1 enables you to convert the humbucker to a single-coil, transforming this guitar to a classic three single-coil Strat. As you can tell, it is as versatile as it is powerful.
