Standard Stratocaster HSS: a classic with a modern edge

Ever since the first model from 1954, Strats have had a comfortably-shaped, lightweight alder body, and this 'Fat' Strat with classic Fender Lake Placid Blue finish is no exception. This new model has fully shielded recesses for the electronics to prevent that typical two single-coil 50Hz hum. Like all Strats, this Standard Stratocaster HSS has a master volume and two tone controls for filtering high frequencies. The 5-position pickup switch allows you to choose between the different sounds of the three pickups plus two pickup combinations.

Additional features of the HSS Strat

The Standard Stratocaster HSS has a tremolo bridge, meaning that by pressing the arm you can tilt the whole bridge and so alter the pitch which is ideal for creating subtle vibrato effects. Thanks to the large, solid tremolo block, your notes will gain tone and sustain. The yellow tinted maple neck has a rosewood fretboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and the headstock has a classic '70s-style Fender logo and high-quality machine heads for tuning stability.
