With the stunning TQM1, master-fusion-guitarist Tom Quayle presents his very first Ibanez Signature Series model. Polished off by a TQM S-Tech Wood roasted neck, stainless-steel jumbo frets, and an ultra-low action, this nimble guitar plays like a slick dream. Tom has opted for a standard alder Super S-style body to ensure resonant and transparent acoustic sound and has topped it off with a gorgeous slice of Monkey Pod hardwood, sourced from a species of Rain Tree found in Central and South America, parts of Asia, and the Pacific Isles. This fast-growing wood is sustainable, relatively affordable, and here, provides the breathtaking finish for an equally breathtaking instrument. As you'd only expect, the sound is just as deft as the look, and bears the flexible prowess of a set of Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups coupled with Ibanez' own Dyna-MIX 9 Alter switch, opening up a can full of nine different voicings.

Sonic Elegance & Smooth Playability

The acclaimed Dyna-MIX 9 quickly switches between pickup modes flip this model from a two single-coil and simulated humbucker configuration to full and fierce three-single-coil-strong sound, and more. The mounted Seymour Duncan Hyperion Alnico-V pickups boast clarity, excellent dynamic response, and surprisingly elastic tone, while the Gotoh T1802 tremolo bridge (complete with click-in tremolo arm) has been outfitted with titanium saddles - a unique feature that immediately enhances rich trebles and defined basses - the 10.5mm string spacing also raises the playing comfort through the roof. Smooth and stable tuning is lent the supreme support of an oil-impregnated nut and a set of Gotoh locking tuners, and to truly seal the deal, Luminlay position dots line the side of the neck.
