As the founder of progressive metal band Periphery, Misha Mansoor is often considered a pioneer of Djent music. Mansoor also works as a producer and songwriter - he co-write the debut album of another Djent sensation, Animals As Leaders. He also produces all of Periphery’s material. 2015 marks the ten-year anniversary of the band, looking back on some of the most innovative metal albums of the decade.
