The offset-shape of the Jackson X-Series Kelly KEXM doesn't just look fast but plays fast. The fluid, seamless feel of the neck-through-body construction couples with a compound radius to finish a modern axe build for the modern shredder in us all. This guitar is just as hard working as it is refined, since the lightweight, balanced body has been shot through with a maple neck to ensure optimum resonance and solid stability. The neck has even been reinforced with graphite to reduce sensitivity to temperature and humidity shift and prevent warping over time. Meanwhile, the compound radius runs from a snug and round 12 inches at the headstock to a fast and flat 16 inches at the body, accommodating tight chords and leads while guided by a full set of black Jackson-signature sharkfin fretboard inlays.

High-Output Jackson Humbuckers

To gift a beast like the Kelly with the volcanic roar it only deserves, Jackson have mounted a pair of their very own high-output humbuckers able to deliver a delicious, full crunch framed by excellent definition. So, while rhythm parts are thick and tight, the double-coil tone lends itself particularly well to leads, and to pull the very best out of these pickup, a three-way selector switch has been provided to activate both at the same time, or isolate each. To finish, and to support extreme tremolo-arm-trickery and provide the assurance of exacting tuning stability and smooth control, a renowned double-locking Floyd Rose Special bridge has been fitted.
